Dr. Ihab HannaFAAID-DABOI
Dr. Ihab M. Hanna graduated, with honors, in 1994 from Cairo University. Afterwards, he spent three years in training and hospital residency before moving to San Francisco. He completed two years of General practice residency at the University of Illinois, as a chief resident, where he acquired additional training with the use of Dental Implants, sedation and special care dentistry.
With over 25 years of implant dentistry experience and faculty at Hiossens implant education program, Dr. Hanna has extended his skills and knowledge to the community through his implant study club where he supports general dentists in advancing their education further.
Dr. Hanna is one of the founders of the Bay Area Implant institute and is committed to spreading implant education to the general dentist community.
The ABOI/ID Diplomate designation symbolizes the highest level of competence in implant dentistry. Certification by the ABOI/ID attests to the fact that a dentist has demonstrated knowledge, ability, and proficiency in implant dentistry through a rigorous examination process.
Dr. Jeff EatonD.D.S.
Dr. Eaton graduated from UCSF School of Dentistry and worked there for 25 years as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Restorative Dental Services Dept. He completed training in the MAXI Implant Course program at Loma Linda University and is an associate member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Co-Director of the Fundamental of Dental Implants Continuing Education series at UCSF recently elected to the prestigious American College of Dentists. He has taught and lectured on implants locally and nationally.
Dr. Kannan KomandurImplantologist / General Dentist

Naturopathic and Holistic general dental practitioner with knowledge of Ayurveda and Osteopathic principles. Works with all aspects of dentistry providing comprehensive care to the patient focusing on alignment of oral health to prevent dental diseases. Dr. Adam MoneimImplantologist
Dr. Moneim became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry on April 2004.This designation symbolizes the highest level of competence in implant dentistry attesting to the fact that a dentist has demonstrated knowledge, ability, and proficiency in implant dentistry through a rigorous examination process. Dr. Moneim uses the technique of Computer Aided Implantology, a more accurate way of implant placement with flapless surgery. Dr. Moneim is currently a Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco and a medical staff consultant at Highland Hospital Department of Oral Surgery for Implant Prosthetic Clinic in the Alameda County in California.
Additionally, Dr. Moneim performs both, surgical and restorative procedures for replacement of missing tooth/teeth. He completed his General Practice Residency Program at the Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, at the New York State University and he also received 3 years of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) with emphasis on dental implants. He graduated from the University of Alexandria in 1991.
Dr. Shadi BoutrosOral Surgeon
Dr. Boutros completed his dental training at the University of California San Francisco in 2006, graduating with high honors. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, he dedicated 2 years to basic science research in the field of Oral Cancer. His efforts culminated in a Master’s degree (MS) in oral and craniofacial sciences from the University of California San Francisco in 2008.
Dr. Boutros commenced his specialty training in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2008. His medical training was completed at Keck School of Medicine at USC, leading to a Medical Doctor (MD) degree. He completed his general surgery internship at Keck Medical Center at USC and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC.
Dr. Boutros is a California licensed dentist and physician. He is a member of the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellow of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Boutros is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a clinical instructor and lecturer of continuing education courses focusing on implant surgery. His interests are dental extractions, dental implant surgery and bone grafting, repair of facial traumatic injuries and removal of cysts and benign tumors of the jaws.
Dr. Kavitha ParthasarathyPeriodontist
Dr.Parthasarathy graduated with a Bachelors in Dental Sciences (BDS) from India in 1999.Following her graduation, she worked as a clinician for 3years. To further enhance her career, she pursued a MS in Oral Sciences and a residency in Periodontology from the University of New York at Buffalo. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr.Partha joined the University of Texas at Houston following her graduation. During her tenure at the university she trained predoctoral and postdoctoral residents in the field of Periodontology. She also practiced at a multispecialty group practice in Houston. Dr.Partha relocated to San Francisco and continues to pursue her academic interests as well clinical practice. She currently is an Associate Professor at the University of Pacific.
Dr. Samer EbeidEndodontist
Dr. Samer Ebeid lived most of his life in the San Francisco Bay Area where he attended UOP with a DDS in 1992 followed by AEGD residency. He then followed his career in endodontics at the BU under Dr.Herbert Schilder who is regarded as the father of modern endodontics.
After graduating BU in 1996, Dr. Ebeid returned to the Bay Area where he started his private practice in San Rafael, as well as joining the UOP Endo department as a clinical professor where he still teaches dental students and the postgraduate Endo residents.
